Lotus Unique is dedicated to making distinctive scarves from a combination of Mohair and woollen materials natural to New Zealand.

After 39 years of working in the hospitality, travel and tourism industry, Kamalam Ramasamy, the founder of Lotus Unique, relocated to NZ in 1999. Our goal is to bring lovely, original Mohair (Mohair yarn is one of the oldest textiles used in the world. Mohair is a natural substance from the hair of local Angora goats), wool and silk scarves to women of all ages for all seasons, with styling that makes them a true fashion accessory. Because they are worn close to the face - a focal point of the human body - scarves have tremendous power to create an impression. Worn with any outfit, these beautiful scarves add a touch of style, sophistication and exotic flair.
